Rachel Mullally

Rachel Mullally is a final year student in DCU. As a 21 year old not far off graduation I am concerned about what the future holds in this country for my generation. The shortage in accommodation is forcing me to consider moving abroad when I graduate in 2025. I am very interested in politics and believe that Elaine will be a great voice for Laois.

Colette Byrne

Colette Byrne is an experienced accounts manager, overseeing the operations of her family’s long-established Quarry business in Laois. She has previously worked as a Pharmaceutical Technician and successfully managed a family-owned restaurant in Portlaoise. She currently serves as Chairperson of her Residents’ Association and she founded Widow.ie an online bereavement support website. Colette is honoured to serve as Treasurer for Elaine Mullally’s campaign.

Maddison Byrne

Maddison Byrne is a 19 year old 2nd year student at University Limerick. When I finish college I intend to work as a child psychologist. I am very concerned about my future in Ireland as there is such a shortage of housing and I fear I will have to emigrate to have a better life. I fully support Elaine in her campaign as I believe she will stand up for the people of Laois and she will work hard to bring about positive change for our county.

Fiona Power

I’ve recently returned home from the UK. Like many, I left Ireland after the Celtic Tiger crash (2012) in search of better prospects. I gained valuable experience in logistics, strategic sales & contract management. I have returned home to work on setting up a company of my own. While many things have improved in Ireland since I left, the gap between our political class and the people they serve has widened which is why I’m happy to volunteer my time to support Elaine, a real voice for Laois.
